Club Notes Week 17 2020   27/04/2020

COVID 19  we are still at a standstill with all club activities. With the GAA announcement that there would be no mass gatherings beyond 5,000 people until at least August 31st it gives a glimmer of  hope that there maybe a resumption of Club activities during the Summer months. We look forward to announcements on May 5th and hopefully they will be positive.

In the meantime stay safe and follow the guidelines 

ON LINE COACHING is one of the initiatives that has been introduced in the last few days and is being warmly welcomed. at the time of writing we would like to thank club members Eoin Brosnan, Daithi Casey, Pat & Gavin O`Shea, Amanda Brosnan, Fionn Fitzgerald  and Kate Stack for participating. In the coming weeks more nuggets will appear in the next few days.

JUVENILES 200 TOUCHES DAILY during the present lockdown we encourage all juveniles to practise their skills. All you need is a ball and a wall.

GAELTACHT SCHOLARSHIP is postponed for 2020 another victim of the dreaded virus.

BINGO at St. Marys Parish Hall on Sundays is postponed for the foreseeable future and will resume when the current guidelines are lifted..

LOTTO is suspended for next few weeks and we will review on  May 5th.

BIRTHDAY WISHES to our Patron Donie Sheahan who celebrated his 94th last week.

CONGRATULATIONS to Seamus and Mary O`Sullivan D'Arcy who celebrated their Diamond Jubilee last week.

SYMPATHY to the Mangan family Muckross on the death of Tim, son Donal played with us in the 80`s before emigrating to USA, to the Kiely family Pinewood Estate on the death of Bridie widow of Mossie who played with us 60`s and 70`s, and to Elaine & Billy Hennigan on the death of Elaine's father Joe O`Shea, Billy is a former player and currently manager of U14 Squad sons Alex, Liam and Eanna currently don the
