Club Notes Week 36 2021   06/09/2021

SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP our opening game will be on September 19 v 2020 Intermediate champions at a venue TBC.

COISTE NA OG  Academy This continued on Saturday in great sunshine. We had a great turnout with a number of our branches showing record numbers especially the hurlers. We are going to continue every Saturday until Halloween. There are rumours of a few exciting developments to come over the coming weeks but "mum" is the word for now. I think we can start to get excited! Please remember to tell your friends and we cater for boys and girls aged between 4 and 11 from the Killarney area. Hurling is from 10 to 10 45 and football from 10 45 to 12.

U 7s; There was great excitement on Saturday when our under 7s hosted Fossa. The great weather gave a backdrop to some exciting games. I think our lads had a blast and it allowed them to show off all the hard work they have done with their coaches all year.

U9s: We had two rounds of games this week. We went down to Kenmare on Thursday our three teams had some great games. We had some great plays and scores but the biggest cheer of the night was when the home team produced drinks and Taytos. We have to commend our hosts. We had another round of games on Sunday with us hosting Fossa. We had our biggest turnout of the year to field three teams. We had some great games and Fossa were great opponents. We thank them for their help. We have more Go games on the way against Kerins O'Rahillys, Glenbeigh, Listry and Legion so keep practising lads!

U9 Hurlers: We have a home fixture in go games against St Pats/Kilgarvan on Tuesday. Good luck lads!!

Hard Luck to our U17s who narrowly lost their County League final. They have had a good year being crowned East Kerry Champions. Well done lads.
