Club Notes Week 48 2021   29/11/2021

O`DONOGHUE CUP S/F Dr. Crokes 0-22 Rathmore 3-09 missing 5 from the starting team of the previous week we dug out a victory. The concession of 2 first half penalties made our task that bit harder but some tremendous displays from Evan Looney & Michael Potts in defense ably abetted by Jordan Kiely & the magnificent Tony Brosnan who had an personal tally of 0-13 got us over the line. 

We now meet Spa in the final fixed for Sun. Dec. 12th @ 2pm. but first we have the eagerly awaited relegation v Legion  fixed for Sun next Dec. 5th with a 12noon throw in. 

Scor As Rachel Foley, Cultural Officer, continues preparing for Scor, which hopefully will go ahead this year, she is encouraging boys and girls of all ages who are interested in set dancing and figure dancing to join/re-join one of the 3 dancing schools that assist us in this competition. There are 3 levels of competition for various age groups throughout the year. So get practicing with.. Daly King.... Hegarty.... and Hannah Majella with Daly King School of Irish Dancing. DR. CROKES BINGO will continue on Sunday  Dec 5th in St. Marys Parish Hall @ 8.30pm. In accordance with government guidelines pods of no more than six with appropriate social distancing will be in place. Vaccine certs and proof of identification will be in place. Patrons are requested to wear masks until seated. Doors will open at 7.15pm and admittance  is on first come first served basis.. 

LOTTO draw took place on Monday November 29th   Numbers drawn 2 23 24 26      1 patron matched 3 numbers Norma Lynch c/o Mella receive €400 Jackpot for draw on December 6th  will be €7 400 

We are calling on all members to support our weekly lotto as this represents one of the main sources of revenue for the club. With activity likely to recommence on the fields over the next few weeks we need people’s support to maintain our facilities in Lewis Road.
