East Kerry Senior Championship S/Final Dr. Crokes 0-16 Legion 1-10. We managed to edge a victory over our town rivals in a good sporting contest in the Fitzgerald Stadium on Saturday last. We were quick out of the block with Tony Brosnan opening the scoring in the first minute. We led 4 points to no score after 11 minutes of play. We continued to hold this lead for the ent oneire game. Half time score 0-08 to 0-02. Our opponents came out fighting in the second half, scoring 1-01 after just 3 minutes of play. Our luck was tested in the 36^th minute when Daithi Casey was black carded for pulling down an opposing player. Thankfully Legion did not take advantage of the extra man and we continued to challenge their defence. Credit must be given to our star men Mikey Casey, who scored 4 points from play and Mark Fitzgerald for his role in defence. Final score 0-16 to 1-10. We now face Spa in the East Kerry Final on December 18^th.  

Christmas Party Our Juvenile Christmas Party will take place in the clubhouse on Wednesday 14^th December from 5pm – 6:45pm. Come along and get your photo taken with Santa and the Sam Maguire.  

LOTTO TOOK PLACE ON December 5^th Numbers drawn were 5, 8, 18, 19 Jackpot not won. 10 patrons matched 3 numbers and receive €40 each. Jackpot for draw on December 12^th will be €13,700. We are calling on all members to support our weekly lotto as this represents one of the main sources of revenue for the club. With activity likely to recommence on the fields over the next few weeks we need people’s support to maintain our facilities in Lewis Road.
