After the Quiz Night in the Tatler Jack on Thursday 29 January (table of 4 - â¬20), organised by the Events Committee, in support of their couple, Frances O'Sullivan and Niall O'Callaghan, the Clear Air Boys will be seeking your support for their representatives. They are running a Golden Goal Promotion around the Kerry v Mayo NFL Game with tickets priced at â¬2. Tickets available from usual outlets and the Clear Air Boys. Make sure to get yours in support of the Club and in particular,dancing couples Andrea Leahy Hartnett / Andrew Kenneally and Maggie Casey/ Ger O'Shea. JUVENILE AWARD CEREMONY: Annual awards ceremony took place in the Clubhouse on 25 January 2015. District and County League medals were presented to our U15 Girls, U14 Boys and U16 Boys, while mementos of the playing year were also presented to all underage girls teams. Daithi Casey, Amanda Brosnan and Michael Burns were on hand to do the honors and the large audience was also addressed by Club Chairman, Denis Coleman, Juvenile Chairman, Pat O'Shea and Ladies Chairperson, Tommy Brosnan. Well done to all concerned for a well organised,enjoyable event.
LADIES AGM: The Ladies Section AGM was held on Friday 23 January with Tommy Brosnan taking over as Chairperson. Interest in ladies football continues to grow, with the club coaching juveniles from ages 4/5 upwards and fielding teams at all grades. The ladies section has been revitalised in recent years thanks to the efforts of a small band of dedicated Crokes supporters. Our young girls and ladies deserve as much support as their male club colleagues and take as much,if not more pride in donning the Black and Amber. Get involved in any way you can, your time is all the club needs, experience will follow. You'll get as much satisfaction from contributing as the girls get playing. SCÃR: Club members who may be interested in taking part in the upcoming Senior Scór (Over 17) and Scór na bPáisti (Primary School children ) competitions are asked to contact Cultural Officer Teresa Hickey on 086 3487671 as soon as possible. Scór competitions are as follows; Quiz, Recitation, Drama,Solo Singing, Ballad Group, Figure dancing, Set dancing and Instrumental group. These competitions commence in early February.
ANNUAL SOCIAL: This years social will take place on Monday,16th March 2015. Tickets are on sale now and are available from club officers.

AGM: The Club AGM and Juvenile AGM were both very well attended in the past week. Chairperson Ger O'Shea, Secretary Matt O'Neill and P.R.O. Michael O'Keeffe stepped down after tremendous service in the roles. Incoming Chairperson, Denis Coleman, gave an inspirational address to those assembled, calling for a positive unified approach by all members towards Club affairs, leading to collective success on and off the field.
Condolences were paid to all members bereaved in 2014, including the families of two club stalwarts- Maureen Cooper and Bridie O'Shea.

MEDAL PRESENTATION: Dr Crokes U15 Girls and U14 & U16 Boys will be presented with their East Kerry and County League medals at a ceremony in the clubhouse at 6.00pm on Sunday 25th January 2015. All are welcome to attend.
LADIES AGM: Dr Crokes Ladies AGM will take place next Friday, 23rd January in the clubhouse at 7:15pm. Female or male, you can get involved. The girls deserve your support.

EAST KERRY AWARDS: East Kerry All Star Awards Banquet and presentation of Awards takes place this Friday evening, 16th January 2015 in the Gleneagle Hotel. Guest speaker on the night will be Rathmore and former Kerry Senior Goalkeeper, Declan OâKeeffe. Please support this event by attending. Admission is by ticket only which are available from club officers and East Kerry Board delegates and cost â¬35.
WELL WISHES: Happy to hear Donie Sheehan is recovering well after a short stay in hospital. Best wishes on a full recovery. Also, wishing Ger, Marguerite and Karen Brosnan a speedy recovery following a serious car accident in Australia.
CONGRATULATIONS: to Paddy and Anne O'Shea on their recent celebration of 50 years of marriage.
SYMPATHY: to the family, relatives and friends of Noreen Foran, O'Kelly's Villa, Killarney, who was laid to rest last weekend. She actively promoted our club lotto and sold many a ticket from its inception 20 years ago right up to the present day. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dÃlis.

WEBSITE: The new Dr. Crokes website has been up and running for the past two months now. We are still compiling remaining information for the site. CLOTHES BANK: There is a clothes bank now permanently located at the rear of the clubhouse. Any old clothes, no longer required, can be deposited in bags at all times. As well as providing valuable funding to our juvenile section, proceeds from the bank also go towards the ISPCC.
