Under 13 Girls County Championship Semi Final

For anyone who was fortunate enough to be in Lewis Rd. on Friday 10th of August, they were treated to a most exciting exhibition of football from Dr Crokes and Legion U 13 girls. A place in the final of the competition at stake, both teams showed no sign of nerves and played with great freedom. At various stages of the game each team ran into what looked like comfortable leads only to be eventually hauled in by the other. Unlike their first outing, the management was fortunate to be able to call on the services of Alicia Keane, Ella Barrett, Sadhbh Stack and Síofra Randles help the cause. The game came a little too soon for Sinead Byrne, whose hand injury is nearly cleared. 8 - 18 in scores is what the spectators on the night were treated to, and even though all the Crokes girls left everything on the field, they were to come up two points short at the final whistle. 4-08 to 4-10. The team and management wish Legion good luck in the final.

Development Fund
 
Dr Crokes Club are embarking on a fundraising initiative to help upgrade the current facilities of our grounds as it has been 12 years since serious work has been carried out. There are fantastic prizes to be won with the first prize a Nissan Pulsar Executive Class Car and second prize is a four-night stay for two people in New York including flights. We have 10 prizes in total and the draw will take place on December 20th 2018. Tickets are €10 each or a book of 6 for €50. There will be an additional draw of €1000 for those who purchase a full book for €50. Tickets can be purchased in the Tatler Jack, Club members or Kerry Shop in Killarney Outlet Centre
