Co. League Div. 1 D. Crokes 5 16 Ballymacelligott 1-11
Early first half goals by Mark O’Shea and Jordan Kiely laid the foundations for our win over Ballymacelligott last Saturday evening. The first half remained competitive but a third goal just before half time from Mark O’Shea provided us with a cushion at the short whistle. The second saw two further goals, from O’Shea and the ageless John Payne, with us running out comfortable winners on the night.

Div. 3 Dr. Crokes B 1-15 Glenflesk 1-17 a great second half performance by the visitors just got them over the line in this entertaining contest. a game that went to the wire and a wonderful double save by the Glenflesk keeper in the final moments gave them the spoils.

Kilmacud Crokes Invitational Tournament: Our under 9s took up the invitation to play in the Kilmacud Crokes National invitational tournament in UCD on Sunday last. We took our place with teams from all four provinces. In an immaculately organised event we got to play teams from Salthill , Naas, Cavan, Finagallians of Dublin and the host club. It was a fantastic event for our young players to be involved with and they did their club, their families and most importantly themselves proud. It was a great bonding event for our players and something that we should certainly look at again in the future for our academy members.

Dr. Crokes mentors were delighted to meet with a former player Norman Campbell now a resident in Dublin. Norman played with on a number of our winning O`Donoghue Cup sides in the distant past.
