Club Notes Week 29 2024

Senior Club Championship Dr. Crokes 2:14 Dingle 3:17. We travelled to Tralee on Saturday evening where we fell short to our west Kerry opponents. We got off to a fantastic start with a beautiful goal from Mark Fitzgerald in the opening 2 minutes. It was in the 28th minute that Dingle got their own maximum through a Paul Geaney goal, which left us trailing 1:05 to 1:09 at the break. The second half proved more challenging than the first when Dingle came out all guns blazing. Another Dingle goal early in to the half, and various Crokes injuries meant that it was going to be a tough battle to get on top of our oppositions. Kieran O'Leary struck a bullet into the back of the Dingle goal to narrow the margin ever so slighly. unfortunately the gap was too much and Dingle ranout winners in the end. Next up is Miltown Castlemaine at home at 7pm on Saturday 3rd July.
Academy There will be no academy this Saturday. Our Academy continues Saturday morning, August 10th, for boys and girls between 4 and 11 from the Killarney area. Hurling from 10-11 and Football from 11:15-12:15. Fun and friendship guaranteed. Bring a friend.
LOTTO took place July 29th Numbers drawn were 5, 7, 12, 26. Jackpot of €9,500 was NOT WON. 9 patrons matched 3 numbers and receive €50 each. Jackpot for draw on August 5th will be €9,800. BINGO Dr Crokes Bingo continues every Sunday in St. Mary's Parish Hall. Doors will open at 7pm with the first game commencing at 8pm.
